500 Startups Latam announced this past week the opening of applications for its four month-long accelerator program.

Startups selected into 500 Startups LatAm, in addition to receiving an investment of $60,000 USD, partake in a 16-week acceleration program. The organization is headquartered in Mexico City.

Founders have until April 26, 2020 to apply.

Said René Lomelí, Director of the 500 Startups LatAM accelerator fund, in an earlier statement, “Latin American entrepreneurs continually show us how vibrant our region is in terms of generating business and opportunities.”

“Given the current situation, we believe that now more than ever, it’s crucial we continue working as an investment fund to fulfill this goal. We believe in startups’ great potential to take on challenges like those we’re facing today and [we believe] in them as an opportunity to transform our region for the better.”
